TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

TRANSCRIPTION, COPYTYPING and PROOF READING SERVICES.

1. Sapphire Transcription accepts audio files from the UK and Worldwide however both the input and output must be in English.
2. Sapphire Transcription reserve the right to change the turnaround time due to quality issues with the source.
3. The responsibility for final proof reading and quality lies with the customer. Any omissions will be corrected free of charge if notified within 48 hours of receipt of files.
4. Sapphire Transcription believes highly in data protection and as a result we only keep an electronic copy of your file for 30 days, after which it will be erased from our system.
5. Sapphire Transcription reserves the right to refuse any projects.

RENTAL SERVICES.

1. Rental of recording equipment is charged on a weekly basis. A £10 deposit is required before the equipment will be sent. Upon the safe return of all hired equipment the deposit will be returned.
2. For rental of less than four weeks a full payment is required in advance. Rental periods over four weeks can either be paid in advance or an account basis.

PAYMENT.

1. For non account holders: A 50% payment for all services is payable in advance of work being started and the remaining balance  needs to be paid before the transcribed files are sent. We accept Payment by Pay Pal and Cheque.
2. For Account holders: accounts are available to customers who have previously used the service or to those using the rental service. All jobs are invoiced upon completion and payment is required by cheque within 14 days of the invoice date. Cheques need to be made payable to Miss V Jackson.
3. The customer bears full responsibility for any fees charged by the bank for cheques that have been refused.
4. All invoices are payable within 14 days of the issue date. Outstanding balances after this date will incur a 7% per annum interest rate charged daily from the 14 days after the invoice date until payment is received.
